We all look forward to helping our members grow and develop a hobby that
they can enjoy for the rest of their lives while fostering an appreciation of wildlife and conservation
while teaching the safe handling of firearms and archery equipment.
WHAT ARE THE DETAILS OF MEMBERSHIP?
Association membership will be open to young people, both male and female,
aged 12-18 and students up to the age of 21, who show themselves physically and psychologically
of handling firearms and archery equipment in a safe, responsible manner.
To ensure safety awareness all participants will be required to have passed, or be in the process of passing,
provincially recognized firearms safety and hunter safety training.
Opportunities to attend said courses will be provided by the Association.
WHAT ARE THE COSTS INVOLVED?
All efforts are being made to provide a pleasurable and affordable experience for our young people.
Each BCYSSA membership will cost $30.00 plus;
- $5.00 per round of trap (covering the expense of clay targets)
- $5.00 per evening for archery shooting (covering the expenses of targets, arrows, etc.).
Firearms, archery equipment and related safety items (shooting glasses, hearing protection, etc.)
will be supplied and controlled by the Association.
All activities will be conducted at the Brant Rod and Gun Club.
All participants are encouraged to arrive promptly at the prescribed times so that organizational procedures,
membership paperwork and verbal direction may be taken care of as needed.

Trap Shooting: Tuesday Nights.....6:00 p.m.
Archery: Thursday Nights.....6:00 p.m.
